Orthopaedics SA surgeons attending a Nurse Practitioner Evening Event

On Wednesday, we welcomed nurse practitioners from hospital emergency departments across Adelaide to Orthopaedics SA to look at common presentations in emergency.

Thanks to Jackie Sullivan, from the Orthopaedic & Trauma Service at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, who joined our surgeons to present on fingertip injuries. Also focused on upper limb issues were Dr James McLean, who explained hand and wrist injections and blocks, and Dr Jonathan Cabot, who discussed shoulder examinations. Our lower limb specialists, Dr Daniel Mandziak and Dr Justin Webb, spoke about acute ankle injuries and sports knee injuries respectively.
