Dr David Hermann on ABC Radio

Written by Dr David Hermann on 10 Aug 2016

Dr David Hermann appeared on ABC Radio this afternoon talking on the topic ‘Feeling the weather in your bones’.

As an Orthopaedic surgeon, Dr David Hermann hears all sorts of wives tales but says there is probably some truth in feeling the weather in your bones due to Barometric pressure drops. He specifically spoke about arthritic pain and sports injuries and likened the older arthritic joints to ‘rusty gates’. Sometimes it takes a little warming up but on occasion, it may be necessary to see a GP or a referral to an Orthopaedic surgeon to discuss appropriate management.
