Orthopaedic Surgeon

Dr Anthony Samson is an orthopaedic surgeon specialising in hip and knee replacements, sports injury and trauma surgery. He has a particular interest in anterior hip and robotic knee replacement. Utilising the latest advancements in these techniques, combined with his highly skilled peri-operative team, Dr Samson aims to achieve the best possible outcome for his patients.

Dr Samson completed medical school at Flinders University followed by orthopaedic training in South Australia. He maintains high standards of patient-care and values the importance of continuing education and training that underpins this. After obtaining Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (Orthopaedics), rather than settling for observerships, Dr Samson completed an intensive hands-on joint replacement fellowship at the internationally recognised Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. Dr Samson is a senior lecturer for Flinders University and is responsible for training international surgeons and local trainees in anterior hip replacement, robotic knee replacement and trauma surgery.
