Dr William Cundy is an orthopaedic surgeon specialising in both adult and paediatric orthopaedics. Dr Cundy has extensive experience in general paediatric orthopaedics, with special interests in hip and knee disorders, sporting injuries, and trauma/fractures. Dr Cundy’s adult orthopaedic practice focuses on hip and knee robotic-assisted arthroplasty, sporting injuries, joint reconstructions, foot and ankle conditions, and trauma.

Dr Cundy completed his orthopaedic surgery training at hospitals across South Australia and Queensland. After becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, he completed clinical fellowships at the Queensland Children’s Hospital and the world renowned Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in London.

In addition to consulting privately at North Adelaide, Dr Cundy practices as an orthopaedic surgeon at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Committed to providing care for the people of South Australia, he also offers regional services through the Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network, visiting Murray Bridge fortnightly, and maintains a connection with Mount Gambier Hospital, visiting multiple times each year.

For information regarding appointment costs, please contact the rooms. Dr Cundy participates in the “known gap” scheme for surgical fees—patients are advised to check with their health fund. For uninsured patients, a quote for Dr Cundy’s surgical services can be provided upon request. He operates at Memorial Hospital twice a week.
