Dr Potter joined Orthopedics SA in 1998, assisting our joint patients to return to an active lifestyle. In addition to his practice at OSA, Dr Potter had a successful career starting in the 1980’s as a medical officer for the WBFL, SANFL & Adelaide Crows. He spent 19 years with the Hockeyroos, 6 years with the Redbacks, and was selected in the medical sections of the Australian Olympic Team in 2000 and 2008 and Commonwealth Games Team in 2006. Dr Potter further contributed to the industry as a member of the Australian Sports Drug Medical Advisory Committee, course coordinator, lecturer and SA Branch President for Sports Medicine Australia and he was appointed to the Court of Examiners for the Australasian College of Sports Physicians in 2012, regularly examining for their specialist qualification.
