After graduating from the University of Adelaide in 1983, Dr Mintz obtained a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (Orthopaedic Surgery) in 1992. He undertook overseas training at the Freeman Hospital (Newcastle, UK), and completed post-fellowship training in joint replacement surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School (Boston, USA).
Dr Mintz practises privately with Orthopaedics SA at Memorial Hospital, in North Adelaide, and provides a country service in Victor Harbor, at 65 Ocean Street, Victor Harbor. He is a member of the Australian Orthopaedic Association Arthroplasty Society and worked in the Arthroplasty Unit of the Royal Adelaide Hospital for 20 years.
