Matthew joined Orthopaedics SA in February 2008 having completed his AOA Clinical Knee Fellowship (Sports & Arthroplasty) in Melbourne as well as visiting centres of orthopaedic excellence in the UK, USA and France.

Matthew graduated from Flinders University in 1996 and obtained Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (Orthopaedic Surgery) in 2007.

Specialising in knee, sports injuries and joint replacement surgery, Matthew is also involved in research projects including Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injuries in elite sports people and the injury pattern and management of ACL injuries in the young.

In addition to his private practice with Orthopaedics SA, Matthew is also a Visiting Orthopaedic Specialist at Flinders Medical Centre and Repatriation General Hospital, Daw Park.
