Gordon Morrison has run a patient-orientated Orthopaedic Practice in the western suburbs of Adelaide since 1988.
Following medical and surgical training in Scotland, he undertook Orthopaedic training in Adelaide from 1980-84, with post-graduate training in Edinburgh and London.
In 1986, he was an Orthopaedic Staff Specialist and Consultant in Spinal Injury at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. Since 1987, he has been Visiting Orthopaedic Consultant to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, with a special interest in the surgery of rheumatoid arthritis.
He was a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon to the RAAF and as a Wing Commander in the Specialist Reserve has served in Rwanda, Bougainville and Timor.
With an interest in teaching, he has served with the Secretary Supervisor, Chairman of the SA Orthopaedic Training Programme, and as Director of Training of the Australian Orthopaedic Association.
He now provides a private consulting and medico-legal service.
