David is an Orthopaedic Surgeon with a special interest in sports injuries particularly to the knee, shoulder and ankles, and also osteotomy around the knee. He joins Orthopaedics SA after returning from Canada where he recently completed a Sports Fellowship at The Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic which treats knee, shoulder and ankle injuries and has long term experience with high tibial osteotomy. He also spent several months visiting orthopaedic centres throughout the USA, UK and France.

David also sees paediatric patients with sporting injuries, particularly of the knee, shoulder and ankle in his private rooms at Flinders Private Hospital and at Memorial Medical Centre, North Adelaide.

David graduated from the University of Adelaide Medical School in 1994, completing an Internship at Royal Adelaide Hospital before undertaking Basic Surgical Training at a number of hospitals across metropolitan Adelaide. He completed his Advanced Surgical Training and obtained Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (Orthopaedic Surgery) in 2005.

David has been appointed a Visiting Orthopaedic Specialist at Flinders Medical Centre and consults at the Orthopaedic Clinic at the Women's and Children's Hospital. David consults privately with Orthopaedics SA at Kermode Street, North Adelaide and Flinders Private Hospital, Bedford Park. His private operating is conducted at the Memorial Hospital and Flinders Private Hospital.
