Dr Wallace is an Orthopaedic Surgeon with a special interest in knee surgery.

He graduated from the University of Adelaide Medical School in 1980 and spent two years working in the UK before returning to Australia to commence Orthopaedic training. He completed his Orthopaedic training and obtained fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons (Orthopaedic Surgery) in 1989.

He then completed a six month fellowship in knee surgery in Adelaide before venturing overseas again for six months during which time he did a one month AO fellowship in Switzerland and then visited several well known and respected knee surgeons in the United States.

In 1990 he returned to Adelaide to commence private practice and was also appointed a visiting Consultant to the Royal Adelaide Hospital, a position which he still holds.

Dr Wallace is a member of the Australian Knee Society, the International Society for Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicin, Sports Medicine Australia (SA branch) and the Australian Medical Association.
