Dr Aman Sood

Dr Aman Sood graduated from Flinders University in 1997 and obtained Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (Orthopaedic Surgery) in 2008.

Aman joins Orthopaedics SA having recently completed his post fellowship training in hand and upper limb surgery with Dr Mark Ross in Brisbane. This was followed by visitations to various centres of Orthopaedic excellence in the UK, France, Switzerland, & Italy focussing on arthroscopic and minimally invasive surgery.

His area of special interest is Upper Limb, Sports Injuries and Joint Replacement Surgery. Aman has a keen interest in research and has presented multiple award winning papers at state and national meetings. Currently he is involved in research of sports injuries to the AC joint and management of acute shoulder injuries.

Aman is consulting and operating at the following sites:

■ Ashford Hospital ■ Flinders Private Hospital

■ Memorial Hospital

As a visiting Orthopaedic specialist Aman currently performs upper limb, sports and trauma surgery at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and joint replacement surgery at the Repatriation General Hospital.
