Dr Andrew Mintz is an Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in the treatment of hip and knee disorders, particularly in the areas of knee arthroscopy, reconstructive surgery and joint replacement surgery of the hip and knee.

He graduated from the University of Adelaide Medical School in 1983, and undertook Orthopaedic surgical training in Adelaide, obtaining Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (Orthopaedic Surgery) in 1992.

Dr Mintz has also trained overseas with time spent in the UK (London and Newcastle) and has had post fellowship training in joint replacement surgery at Harvard Medical School, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston, USA.

He consults in North Adelaide and operates at Memorial Hospital. He has an attachment to the Arthroplasty unit at the Royal Adelaide Hospital.

Dr Mintz provides a country service to Mt. Barker and Victor Harbor on a regular basis.

He is a member of the Australian Orthopaedic Association Arthroplasty Society.
