Dr Christy Graff

Dr Christy Graff is an Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in the management of paediatric, adolescent and adult orthopaedic conditions. She has a particular interest in adult and paediatric fracture management and trauma, deformity correction and paediatric orthopaedics.

Consulting and operating privately with Orthopaedics SA at Memorial and Ashford Hospital, Dr Graff has a public appointment at the Women's and Children's Hospital, where she is involved in medical student and registrar teaching. Dr Graff is also an Orthopaedic Surgeon with Cure International, and volunteers at their paediatric orthopaedic hospital in Malawi, Africa on a regular basis. She regularly conducts educational sessions for GPs, doctors-in-training and allied health practitioners in both Australia and Africa. She is passionate about outreach and teaching, and is genuinely invested in the well being of her patients.

After graduating from the University of Adelaide in with a Bachelor of Medicine in 2003, Dr Graff completed a Masters of Human Movement Science through Central Queensland University, in research involving patients with total knee replacements. Dr Graff has had national and international training, completing her orthopaedic training in Victoria, South Australia and the UK. She obtained Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons, England in 2013 after having worked at the Royal London Hospital for over two years, in Paediatric Orthopaedics and Adult Trauma. Dr Graff then obtained Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2017, therefore being qualified to work as an orthopaedic surgeon both in the UK and Australia. Dr Graff is an active member of the Australian Orthopaedic Association and is a member of the Academy of Surgical Educators through the College of Surgeons.
